I am privileged to serve as the Development Director for a nonprofit that provides social and legal services, research and advocacy for indigent Western New Yorkers. Wearing many hats, my key responsibilities include grant writing and management, communications, marketing, graphic design, multimedia messaging, website development and maintenance, fundraising, social justice advocacy, donor relations, facilitating the overhaul of our enterprise technology, diversity outreach as Co-Chair of our D&I committee, and community building. I am fortunate to have a job that allows me to blend my passions for social justice advocacy, marketing, messaging, and technology. I am proficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, Adobe LightRoom, DSLR Photography, database management and more.
I am also a civil legal services attorney, with a focus on labor/employment law and consumer law. I've handled employment discrimination claims, discrimination in educational contexts, unpaid wage claims, union-related matters, and consumer claims.
In my spare time I photograph families, events (including non-profit events), pets, yogis, and folks pursuing their passions. I am also a nature and wildlife photographer. Through my work, I hope to inspire and raise consciousness about the necessity of environmental and wilderness conservation. A nerd to the core, I am a serious birder and a tai chi practitioner.
